I look forward to the many adventures we have ahead of us. Josh and I are both so lucky to have a good group of Christian friends and family that support us. You all mean the world to both of us! So, the next time I post I will be Mrs. Lacy Keith. :)

A quick update....

So much has happened lately!!! Where do I start? :)Wedding planning is coming along smoothly so far. Things get a little hectic at times, but we manage. The important thing is not the wedding itself, it's the marriage. I could not be happier to be marrying the most wonderful man I have ever met. Thanksgiving was great! I went to Missouri with Josh. Spending time with his family is always a blessing, I already consider them my family. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful future n-laws and his whole family. So in between work, wedding planning and life in general I am keeping plenty busy. I have never been this happy before and I can't imagine what married life will be like. It's hard to imagine being happier than I already am and I look forward to the many adventures Josh and I will go through together. Please pray for both Josh and I at this time as we prepare for our marriage and all that goes with that. I hope you all are doing great! Five weeks from today I ...

Praise God!

I have some excellent news. We all have a new sister in Christ. A woman at church was baptized this morning. It truly was a wonderful way to start the week. When I see someone get baptized, it always takes me back to my baptism. I realize that the day I was baptized is truly the most wonderful day of my life! The song that was led before the baptism was "I Surrender All". The song made me think and examine myself. We truly should surrender everything to God. We all need to look deep in ourselves and see what we can do to be better Christians. So today has been a wonderful day!! Just wanted to share the good news. Strive to do God's will every day and live as He would live.Love you all,Lacy

Wedding website!!!

Josh and I have a wedding website made thanks to her. It's www.joshandlacy.com. Go check it out and let me know what you think!!! Things are coming along smoothly with planning right now. We have a place reserved in Garland, TX. It's been really hard on both Josh and I to be apart right now. I try to tell myself that we will be together forever soon, but it doesn't make our time apart any easier. But other than the distance right now, things could not be better!!! I hope everyone is doing great!Love you all,Lacy

Picture time!!

Here are some pictures of Josh and I that were taken last Saturday before I left Missouri. It's so hard being away from him. His mom was our photographer and a very good one! These were all in the park where he proposed. Hope you enjoy them!A few pictures of the ring...This picture is priceless :)A recap of the proposal in the same spot where we were when he actually proposed....The moment that changed my life foreverI remember my thoughts during this picture: All I could think was how I'm staring into the eyes of my future husband We wanted a picture with the swans, even though they were not cooperating with us all that well!

WE'RE ENGAGED!!!!

So..... Josh proposed Saturday night!!! Here's our love story :)I left Saturday morning to drive to Missouri for the week. I got in around 5:30ish Saturday evening. I so gracefully locked my keys in my car!! I was so excited to see Josh that I got sidetracked. While we were waiting on help to come, we went to a park. It was lightly raining, but we went anyway. When we first got to the park we sat under a pavillion for a minute then got up and walked a little ways. We stopped and he kissed me and asked me if I knew how much he loved me. About this time, I noticed he had his hand by his side. :) He said, "This much." He holds up a ring box and opens it! I was absolutely speechless. I couldn't say anything for probably at least a minute. I got teared up and just hugged and kissed him. He got on one knee and asked me to marry him. In between my tears I said yes. We are both very happy and excited. The ring is yellow gold, marquise cut. I'll post pictures soon...
