New Years came and went and the first thing I thought of after the clocked turned 12:01 am was....I'm getting MARRIED this YEAR! I will be Mrs. Audrey Lovinggood in now under 3 months. Can't believe that I actually get to say that...crazy!
Then the second thing I thought was.....I'm going to have a new niece this year! And then I thought....I'll have another niece/nephew this year too! Crazy....guess that means I get to do alot of shopping for some pretty cute outfits.
I have a lot going on in the next 6 months. Let the good times start rolling.
Now the 2 week vacation is coming to an end and I have to start back to work, bright and early tomorrow. At least it will feel like it's early.
I hope 2009 is a blessed year for all of you and looking forward to seeing what wonderful blessings God will bestow on each of us!
Ryan has taken a lot of days off the last 2 weeks and he had a very hard time going in today. :) I have cleaning and laundry to do. Fun! :) Sounds like you have a great year ahead. We are very happy for you!
I leave Monday to spend Christmas with Momma and Daddy in good ol' Chicago where it should be FREEZING cold and I'll see lots of snow! I'm excited...I hope it snows on Christmas Eve...wouldn't that be cool? It's my last Christmas as a single lady and next year who knows which family I'll be spending it with but I'm excited for what the future holds. It will be a lot of changes and adjustments but a blessing just the same.
I just about finished my shopping for everyone...I do need to wrap them all. Christmas snuck up on me this year so I'm a little behind. Oh well...I'll get all the good deals this way.
The wedding is sneaking up on me and I'm starting to feel the stress. No dreams about the wedding (yet) but I'm sure that will happen. Anyone up to giving me ideas of things I might forget to do before the big day? I know I'll forget the little things but I know what matters is the end result. Everything else is just petty stuff. Well...that's about it....3.5 months and counting!!!!

Make sure your honeymoon travel is booked under your maiden name, since you won't have any new identification for a while. The name change process is a long one, but thrilling at the same time!
I'm leaving the snow this christmas to spend time with my family in Houston... but we're getting plenty of snow now to make up for it! Have fun in Chicago!
We have 5 months or a little less before our wedding. I'm so thankful that I moved the date up...of course now I wish I had moved it up even more. Oh well...I think the photographer wouldn't be too thrilled with me if I did that so I'll just live with 5 months....
Also, I hate to report that I won't be able to vote in the election this year. I obviously have moved WAY TOO MUCH and because of this, I'm registered in one county but live in a different one. So I missed the deadline (because I just thought about this last week) and now I can't vote. I hate the feeling that I can't have a say in who will be the next leader of our country but I'm confident that God has His hand in this and whoever wins, will be okay. I also figured that I might as well wait to re-register since I'll be changing my name and I'll probably be moving again. So in 2012 I'll vote, Lord willing.
100% ditto on the second paragraph. I couldn't vote for all the exact same reasons and I'll be changing my name in 4 days....5 more months!?! That's so awesome!!!! Sorry it took me forever to get back to you...my computer died and I just broke down and bought a new one yesterday with John. By the way, if I didn't already tell you, I loved the engagement photos!
Bummer that you and Josh have to be away during Thanksgiving, but I guess you're right. Once you get married, it'll be hard remembering a holiday without your hubby:) Be safe and have a good trip!
i'm working on it, but david is unsure wether he will be able to convince "the company" if me working in finance is justifiable. i also e-mailed rochelle and am waiting for a response. please pray that it works out. i really need the job.
Well lots has been going on since my last post. Let's see...I've found my dress and surprisingly it came in VERY early so now I have my dress, sitting in my closet, patiently waiting for me to try it on :) Other plans have been made and things are slowly coming together. Oh...did I mention we moved the date up? Our wedding date is now April 3, 2009. There was no reason not too and since I had a lot of things done, I thought, why not?!
On Sunday, Josh and I had engagement pictures taken. We had a TON of fun taking them and they turned out so good. Better than I thought or expected. good for you girl! Why wait?! We took Engagement pics on Monday. I wish I had my dress..not until Dec :-( the bridesmaid dresses come in in Nov. We worked on programs last night...and we think we are going to make them ourselves..nothing that "theKnot" will write about I'm sure but something unique to us

For some reason i got it to work. They are SO good! I bet you just love them. Get lots of them and put them all over your new home together. Then you can always look back and remember when you really liked each other. :) J/K! but they are good and I would have a hard time picking my favorite! Lots of kissing too! I'm sure your dad loves that!

Well I put up a countdown to the big day...not sure if that is a good thing or not! ;-) It might stress me out some to realize how little time I actually have! I remember a few months ago thinking that May seemed so far away and the time is flying by.
Tomorrow starts my mini-vacation and when the fun really begins. She gets here tomorrow along with her precious girl to spend a few days with me and help plan. I mean she is the matron of honor so she needs to be involved! We will be trying on dresses (hopefully I'll feel like a princess in a dress and that will be THE dress!!), going to look at the site, cake tasting, and just having a fun girl's weekend! I'm looking forward to it.
I took Josh home to Kansas City for Labor Day weekend to meet the whole family. I think he did just fine and they liked him. I know my little cousins enjoyed having him around!

centerpieces for what tables? tables for guests? tables for the cake? it depends.
You could always do small glass vases (less than 1 dollar)...put pebbles in it and a votive candle...place on a mirror (25 cents) and maybe one or two tulips that are cut around the base of it.
